Verify if the user is a new hire if you cannot locate an account for him/her in the system; if the user is a new hire, please give them this SR.

USPTO Administrators have indicated the following for new federal employees:

1. Please note that it takes approximately 48-72 hours after you complete Day One orientation for you to be issued a USPTO Learning Center account. Once your account has been created you will receive an email containing access and login information. USPTO thanks you for your patience during this brief wait period.

2. You do not need to take any action for this to occur as it will happen as part of your integration into USPTO’s systems. Please look out for that email which will be sent directly to your USPTO government email address.

If you are a contractor, please note that your account will take 1-2 pay periods to be created, depending on when your information is entered in HRIS.
